Key Tasks

• Develop a deep understanding of key market segments – Transmission and distribution utilities, thermal and renewable generation, industry, and infrastructure verticals – including segment drivers, key influencers, potential partners, channel map etc.

As an IQC engineer, you will be working closely with the internal Customers and quality lead to implement error
free quality materials. You will also be responsible for to manage QMS systems documentation for incoming
material, in process and postproduction quality.

B.Tech/B.E/Diploma Electrical /electronics.

Experience

• 3 - 5 years of work experience in quality function in core electronics manufacturing. (Inward quality, in
  process quality, supplier quality, inward Product testing)
• Hands-on knowledge of inward quality parameters, IEC standards report, rejection reports, Rejection
  analysis, Supplier corrective action reports, inwards reports, and documentation control, yellow tags for
  rejection.
• Knowledge of quality tools like 7QC, Fishbone diagram, Flow charts, histograms, pareto charts, cause and
  effect analysis, control charts reading and generation, Check sheets filling.
• Persons should be aware of KANBAN, Kaizens,5s implementation, Visual analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 QMS documentation and control.
• Candidate contains good knowledge in basic electrical testing like Hi-pot test, IR test, Transformer basic
  tests, PCB testing.
• Basic knowledge of international tests like UL, IEC, CSA, IP etc.
• Thorough process planning up to validation in PPAP.
• Minimizing measurement errors through proper gauge planning, selection, calibration and MSA.
• Overseeing quality policy & objectives are adequately deployed through various functions to achieve
  efficiency and effectiveness.

Newen Systems is looking for Sales Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and propagating Newen Systems’ value differentiator and brand promise to existing and potential customers. You will also be responsible for understanding the market dynamics and establishing BESS’s target customer segment in the market. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking the tenders and other projects for distribution companies and the C&I segment. Finally, you will be responsible for owning the sales target and engaging organizational resources to achieve the goal.

Key Tasks:

• This position holds responsibility to develop all the electrical components required in BESS solutions viz Switchgears, DC Contactors, AC & DC Capacitors, Current Sensors, Semiconductors, Fuses, Cable and cable accessories components.
• Overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of the company and implementation of action plans to achieve those goals for electrical commodity.
• Responsible for negotiations for the best possible cost service guarantee and developing “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
• Evaluation of supplier’s core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.
• Implement supplier agreements and contracts when beneficial by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions.
• Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
• Analyse industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect the continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities.
• Participate in establishing short-term and long-term planning and budget development of the company to support strategic business goals.
• Develop a supplier management program with key suppliers including metrics, performance goals and improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement sourcing and supplier selection strategy domestically and internationally with managing excess and obsolescence of items in inventory.
• Work directly with vendors to obtain accurate component availability, lead times, and pricing based upon the RFQ.
• Study, evaluate, and compare Techno-Commercial proposals and on-board those suppliers who meet OCD. Facilitate competitive supplier tool capex for given category.
• Identify local/international vendors based on BOM availability and specifications.
• Formulate and Lead on vendor life cycle management.
• Benchmark vendors based on price and quality competitiveness.

Skills

• Complete know-how of electrical component sourcing from domestic and international regions in addition to connects and networks with the prominent suppliers for the domain.
• Understanding of material handling, packing, and freight cost management.
• Cross functional experience in Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Excellence, Quality and Maintenance is most preferred.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and directly working with promoters of the organization on specific projects and making dashboards and presentations on a regular basis
• Proactive decision maker for successfully achieving organizational objectives.
• Extremely flexible mind-set with a defined level of assertiveness.
• Should have experience of product costing and basic incoterms, logistics cost and taxation knowledge are must.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical (or related field).

Experience

Candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in Vendor Development role for Electrical components.

• Perform validation and testing for new and existing products against system specifications.
• Establish performance and quality criteria.
• Evaluate engineering systems and processes.
• Making sure that products meet industry standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain testing equipment.
• Investigating and fixing issues that arise during testing.
• Maintaining records of test results, findings, and validation reports Perform troubleshooting in PCB components.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team engineers and technicians on daily work.
  

  Skills

• Previous experience as a validation engineer or in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively tackle engineering challenges.
• Knowledge of instruments like Oscilloscope, Multimeter, HV tester, Megger Meter etc.
• Product knowledge of DC/AC, DC/DC converter, UPS, Drives, Transformer, Breakers etc.
• Skill and understanding required to work 1500 Vdc and 800 Vac systems.
• Excellent electrical, mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams, with excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical or Power Electronics or EC Engineering.

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in Testing and Validation role in Power Electronics or similar Industry.
